  • Subhash Ghai unveils 'Kaanchi' trailer
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai Thursday unveiled the trailer of "Kaanchi" and said the film's story is "very inspiring".

"I was always surrounded by movies. 'Kaanchi' is a very special film and I would like to say it's a typical Subhash Ghai kind of a film," he told reporters at the launch.

Directed by Ghai, "Kaanchi" features Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Kartik Aaryan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Rishabh Sinha and Mishti.

"The subject of the film is very important and 'Kaanchi' is a very inspiring story. I auditioned more than 350 girls for the role of Kaanchi and there came a time when I thought I will drop the project. But finally I met Mishti and she fits the role," he added.

The film is slated for an April 25 release.
