Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to shoot an ad film in October to promote West Bengal's tourism potential, a minister said on Wednesday.
 
Shah Rukh, who is also Bengal's brand ambassador, will be in Kolkata in the third week of October for an indoor shoot, said state Tourism Minister Bratya Basu.
 
The ad film and a series of clippings will depict Bengal's variety, said Basu.
 
Budgeted at Rs.8 crore, the picturesque Darjeeling hills and Dooars in north Bengal, besides the rustic rural sights of Santiniketan in Bolpur and coastal areas will be highlighted in the ad, said Basu.
