  • SRK Finds Facebook's New App Mention 'Cool'
Shah Rukh Khan, who has backed the use of new and innovative technology and techniques in his films, tested social networking platform Facebook's new app Mention, and found it "cool" to get closer to his fans.

Facebook partnered with the 49-year-old, who has wrapped up the shooting of his movie "Fan", to test and launch the app, under which there is a facility called Facebook Live.

This application is currently available for top celebrities only, and this is Facebook's way of making it possible for the fans to get closer to their idols. And for SRK, it turned out to be a useful app to interact with his fans in a live video format.

"Updated my Facebook Mentions... Found a cool new feature... Will get to interact with you live! Itching to try it out, will reach work and do it soon," SRK shared on Facebook.

Shah Rukh even interacted with his fans on Thursday and took them via this app on the sets of his movie. Facebook has partnered with a few international celebrities to test and launch this feature the world over. In the US, it has partnered with Dwayne Johnson.
