  • SRK feels World tour not selfish show
Shah Rukh Khan, the reigning star of Hindi cinema, is all set to embark on World tour with the “Happy New Year” team. He says he is doing it to entertain audiences and not for his own interest or advantage.

Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan, singers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Kanika Kapoor will join Shah Rukh's entourage for SLAM tour, starting Sep 19 in Houston.

"World tour is not a selfish show, it's for the viewers. We are going to entertain them,” SRK told when asked about the details of the show by reporters at the music launch of “Happy New Year” Monday.

Other than SRK, the starry cast of Farah Khan's directorial “Happy New Year” includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

“We will be performing on songs from 'Happy New Year' and on our other famous songs as well. Boman and Farah will do a special performance 'Darde disco' with their six pack abs (laughs)," added the superstar.

Farah and Boman had romanced each other in 2012 release "Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi"
