Speculation Part And Parcel Of My Profession, Says Arjun Kapoor

Darpan News Desk IANS, 17 Apr, 2016 01:42 PM
  • Speculation Part And Parcel Of My Profession, Says Arjun Kapoor
Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is busy with his next film "Half Girlfriend", says rumours and speculations are a part and parcel of a profession like acting.

In the past, the "Aurangzeb" star has been linked with many of his co-stars and friends.

Asked about what he feels about such rumours, Arjun told IANS: "This is not right on the part who create these rumours. How can you stop living your life on the basis of what people say.

"I don't think it is wrong for anyone to hang out with anybody. It is nobody else's business what anybody is doing...I think people who need to be corrected are those who speculate this because you're hanging with people...It's (speculations) part and parcel of the profession. I dont think anybody takes it seriously beyond a point."

Arjun is currently riding high on the success of his latest release "Ki & Ka", directed by filmmaker R. Balki. The film also features actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The 30-year-old star finds such rumours "silly".

"The only thing is sometimes you do laugh at what you read because if you meet somebody that becomes a rumour or if you take a photograph with somebody that too becomes a rumour. So it's just very silly," Arjun added.

Directed by Mohit Suri, “Half Girlfriend”, which also features actress Shraddha Kapoor, will be Arjun's second movie based on author Chetan Bhagat's eponymous novel of the same name.

The "Gunday" star previously starred in Abhishek Verman's "2 States" along with Alia Bhatt, which was an adaptation of Bhagat's novel "2 States: The Story of My Marriage".
