Sonam Kapoor Doesn’t Wants To Go Public About Her Relationships

IANS, 22 Sep, 2015 11:38 AM
  • Sonam Kapoor Doesn’t Wants To Go Public About Her Relationships
Actress Sonam Kapoor, known for speaking her mind without any fear, says she is “completely against” the idea of opening up about her personal life as it takes the focus away from her work.

“I will never talk about my relationships in print. I don’t think that’s appropriate, so I never will. I am not hesitant, but I am completely against talking about my relationships to the press because I think it takes away the focus from your work and the focus changes,” the actress told IANS over telephone from Mumbai.

The actress, who launched the L'Oréal Paris 'Change Your Shampoo, Change Your Hair' campaign through a unique video on break-ups in Mumbai, has had her fair share of link-ups with Bollywood men including Ranbir Kapoor and Punit Malhotra.

Sonam, who has often faced flak for her frank opinions, asserts that the decision to keep her personal life under wraps has not stemmed from any of her past experiences but has been her stand since she joined Bollywood.

“It's a stand I have taken in the very beginning of my career, so I will never ever talk about who is in my life and what my personal life is like."

She may not talk about her personal life but "I can give an advise that how a break up works and how break up doesn't work”, said the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor.

Sonam has much-awaited films in her kitty like “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and “Neerja”.
