Darpan News Desk IANS, 17 Feb, 2019 01:50 AM

When actress Sonam Kapoor changed her name to ‘Sonam K Ahuja’ after tying the knot with Anand Ahuja it took social media by the storm. But, this time she changed her name because of another project.

Sonam changed her name to ‘Zoya Singh Solanki’ for her upcoming film, ‘The Zoya Factor’, also starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.

Sonam’s bio on Twitter reads: ‘Lucky Charm of the Indian cricket team’.

While her bio on Instagram reads: ‘Lucky Mascot’.

The movie is based on a book by the same name.

The actors also shared the first look of the film featuring the two of them a while ago.

Written by Anuja Chauhan, in the book, Zoya is an advertising agent who was born at the exact moment when India won its first Cricket World Cup in 1983.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma it also stars Angad Bedi.

It looks like the makers have come up with some innovative way to promote the film.
