  • Sonali Kulkarni Reminisces 'Dil Chahta Hai' Days In Goa

'Dil Chahta Hai', which is one of the landmark Bollywood films, starring actors Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta and Sonali Kulkarni managed to charm the people with its slice-of-life honesty back in 2001.

Even after 16 years of its release, actress Sonali Kulkarni recalled her experience of shooting in Goa for the film while attending an event at International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

On Day 4 of the film festival, she said, "I come to Goa almost every year and I've always enjoyed travelling to this place and IFFI almost every year."

Shooting in Goa for Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Chahta Hai' with a fantastic star cast and an adorable unit was amazing.

"I absolutely loved working with Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani as they conducted the shoot so differently and by then I had already started working in Hindi cinema," the 43-year-old actress said.

"They were thorough professionals as producers and streamlined everything so well. It was a memorable experience working on Dil Chahta Hai. We had loads of fun shooting the film in Goa and I will never forget celebrating my birthday with the cast and crew in Goa," she added.

Kulkarni attended the Special Screening of Kaccha Limbu at IFFI 2017.

Multiple-award winning actress, Kulkarni, during the Bioscope programme on Friday, shared some special memories of shooting for the 2001 film in the beach state.

The actress also attended the Special Screening of her family drama, 'Kaccha Limbu.'
