Sonali Bendre Wants Films Out Of Her Comfort Zone

Darpan News Desk IANS, 05 Oct, 2016 11:08 AM
Actress Sonali Bendre says unless there is role which is "different" and "out of comfort zone" for her, she is not interested to do more films.

Sonali told IANS: "I have done whatever I wanted to, and unless something really different comes along the way, I am not doing it. Otherwise, apart from films, I talk about various topics. So, unless I am offered something which is out of my comfort zone, I am really not interested in doing it."

"The role should excite me to step out of my home, only then I will do it."

Having started her career as a model, she featured in films like "Diljale", "Sarfarosh", "Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United" and "Kal Ho Naa Ho".

Last seen on screen in the 2013 released film "Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara!", the actress then ventured into TV with the "Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye".

Sonali is happy that more films on different subjects, as well as indie projects, are being accepted these days.

"I think the business has changed, and that's a good thing. Today is the time where independent films can be made and they have some sort of viewership... Earlier you didn't have space to show them. To be able to release such small and independent films, is great. Internet has brought the revolution," added the 41-year-old.
