When Sonali Bendre first broke the news of being diagonised with high grade cancer, it was really heartbreaking. I mean, for the longest time, I am sure none of us could digest the fact she's actually battling a life-threatening disease. But the fighter in her eventually managed to convince us that she's not going to be suffering for too long.
She will beat the hell out of cancer and soon return to mark her new beginning in life. After all, like how she likes to put it in all her social media posts, it's time to 'switch on the sunshine' and face the problem by being brave and hopeful rather than escaping it with no hope at all.
While many from Bollywood including Priyanka Chopra, Neetu Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Sussanne Khan have time and again been visiting Sonali to help her unwind and relax.
Namrata Shirodkar, who is currently in the USA, accompanying her husband Mahesh Babu for the shoot of his film, met PeeCee a couple of days back...and there, she couldn't stop praising about Sonali's amazing strength.
"She is a strong girl. She looks amazingly fit and ready to get back to normal life. I had such a lovely time with her. We discussed so many things. She told me the entire story of her illness and what gives her the strength, and I told her that she’s always in my prayers", said Namrata in interaction with Deccan Chronicle.
On the eve of teaser release of Sara Ali Khan's debut film "Kedarnath", producer of the film Pragya Kapoor on Monday said the film is not a usual love story.
Firstly, the concept is unnecessarily provocative. Mixing religion and romance may be a heady formula for cinema. But it often ends up creating unnecessary controversy.
