Actress Sonakshi Sinha has started working on her upcoming film "Noor".
 
The actress, who will be seen doing some action-packed stunts in another film "Akira", will be essaying the role of a journalist based in Karachi in "Noor".
 
"And my 'Noor' journey begins... Here's to new beginnings and exciting times ahead! Noor The Film. Abundantia Entertainment. T-Series," Sonakshi tweeted along with an image from the sets.
 
In the photograph, she is seen winking with the clap board in her hand.
 
To be directed by Sunhil Sippy, the crime thriller comedy is an adaptation of Pakistani novel "Karachi, You're Killing Me!" by Saba Imtiaz.
 
The novel centers around a 20-year-old reporter Ayesha Khan, living in Karachi, and her misadventures and finding a nice lover.
