Social Media Comes As A Blessing: Sonu Nigam

    Singer Sonu Nigam says that social media platform come as a blessing in the digital world today.
     
    "In today's time where everything is going digital, social media comes as a blessing. It's always good to connect with fans. Social media has reduced the gap between fans and their idols and that's a good thing," he told IANS.
     
    Meanwhile, Sonu who will also be seen as a judge for the reality show Indian Idol Season 9 says he is extremely honest when it comes to judging the show.
     
    "I am deeply honoured that people have given me so much love for over 2 decades now. I thank the almighty for the same and I try my level best along with my co-judges to choose the finest talent our country has to offer. It's a big responsibility but it's something I thoroughly enjoy as well," he said.
     
    "Reiterating what I've said above, being a judge is a big responsibility as thousands of hopefuls participate on Indian Idol. As a judge it's my duty to be honest to my responsibility and choose the most deserving candidate," added Nigam.
     
    The ninth edition of the singing reality TV show brings back Anu Malik, Sonu and Farah Khan as judges.
