Actor John Abraham considers the small screen a platform which gives wider reach to films than the big screen itself.
"I think the small screen reaches out to far more people than the big screen does. I have noticed there are certain films, like 'Force' ... It became a far bigger film when it released on television than it was on screen," John told IANS over E-mail.
John's "Rocky Handsome" premiered on Sony Max on Sunday, and he feels it must have got a wider reach.
The actor-producer says while TV multiplies the reach of content by several times, the medium can't be compared to cinema.
"You can't compare the two, very honestly. The two are totally different vehicles and they serve their purposes mutually, exclusively and in correlation with each other. So I can't really compare," he said.
John is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film "Force 2", which also features Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin. The film is the sequel to the 2011 action thriller "Force" directed by Nishikant Kamat.
