  • Singers Are Getting Lot More Importance: Indo-Canadian Singer Jonita Gandhi
Singer Jonita Gandhi, whose latest song "The breakup song" from "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" is garnering positive response, feels nowadays singers are getting a lot more importance and visibility.

"People who are facing the cameras are going to get more attention and viewership. But as a singer I believe things are changing for the better and I think nowadays singers are getting a lot more importance and visibility," Jonita told IANS.

She also feels there is space for enough singers in Bollywood.

She said: "I agree with the fact that there are new singers coming up almost everyday, but it's not so bad. There is a lot of space for every singer here in Bollywood. The industry is giving break to new talent which is a welcome change."

Jonita has sung songs like "Sau tarah ke" from "Dishoom", "Mental manadhil" from "O Kadhal Kanmani". She says she is happy with the projects that are coming her way.

"I am happy that I am getting wide variety of projects. I want to be versatile as a singer...I love the songs that I am getting. I am exploring lot of different tracks these days," she added.
