Sidharth walked the ramp with Big B, excited

Darpan News Desk IANS, 02 Apr, 2014 01:27 PM
  • Sidharth walked the ramp with Big B, excited
Two-film-old actor Sidharth Malhotra was thrilled when he got an opportunity to walk the ramp with megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

"I am very excited as I am walking with Mr. Bachchan. My wish to share a platform with him has come true now. Though it is not a film, but I am happy that I am sharing a platform with him," the 29-year-old told reporters Tuesday at the Mijwan Fashion Show.

Veteran actress and social activist Shabana Azmi Tuesday brought together Bollywood's iconic male actors Amitabh, Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Ranbir Kapoor and Sidharth - all belonging to different generations of the Hindi film industry - to walk for her NGO Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) to support emancipation of the female gender.

The show was called Men For Mijwan by Manish Malhotra.

Sidharth is a model-turned-actor, but for Ranbir, acting is easier than hitting the runway.

"I have walked the ramp twice before this. I am not a model, so it is very difficult to walk the ramp. Acting is far easier as compared to walking the ramp," said the star of films like "Rockstar" and "Barfi!".

Meow! Let's Get Catty

Meow! Let's Get Catty
Bollywood paparazzi seem to have gone overboard with reportage on catfights in tinsel town -- Katrina Kaif and Anushka  Sharma caught in a "catfight" over a make-up man; "catfight" between Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone over Saif Ali Khan -- it seems too consumed in something which perhaps every woman goes through at least once in a lifetime.
