Sidharth Malhotra Receives Backlash After He Asks Haryana to Be Safe And Watch A Gentleman

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Aug, 2017 01:59 PM

Seems like Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has called on some real trouble for himself amidst the violence after verdict against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

While expressing his concern over the situation, he mentioned about his recently released flick 'A Gentleman.'

"To all the people of Haryana , please stay safe. Hope you can see our film soon #Agentleman #PeaceAndLove," Sidharth took to Twitter to post.

In no time, the actor was showered with trolls on the micro-blogging site.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister OmarAbdullah slammed him and tweeted, "I thought a couple of my tweets may have been a bit thoughtless when protestors started dying but this takes the bloody cake."

This tweet invited obscene comments for the actor, commenting on his ignorance and how Bollywood is only concerned about promoting their film even when people are dying and law and order situation has gone for a toss in the state of Punjab and Haryana.
