Sidharth Malhotra Anxious Over 'Brothers' Trailer

Darpan News Desk, 08 Jun, 2015 01:25 PM
"Ek Villain" actor Sidharth Malhotra, who is gearing up for his forthcoming film "Brothers", is very anxious ahead of the release of the movie's trailer on Wednesday.

The model-turned-actor is essaying the role of a wrestler in the movie, and the 30-year-old has worked hard on his character.

"I am really excited and anxious to show people the trailer of 'Brothers'. I have put in a lot physically and mentally (into the character). I hope they find it entertaining," Sidharth said in a statement.

Sidharth had to put on six to eight kg for the film and learnt mixed martial arts. He even used to have ice water baths to relax his muscles after extensive workout sessions.

He even changed his diet, workout regime and entire lifestyle for "Brothers", which is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film "Warrior". It features actors Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, while actor Jackie Shroff will play a supporting role. The film is scheduled to release on August 14.

Sidharth is currently shooting for filmmaker Shakun Batra's "Kapoor and Sons", which also features actors Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan.
