Actress Shruti Haasan has poured love and affection on her younger sister and her 'princess' Akshara, who turned 24 on Monday.
 
“Happy birthday @AksharaHaasan1 love...my princess,” Shruti tweeted. 
 
Daughters of veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika, both Shruti and Akshara are multi-faceted.
 
Shruti is a singer-composer, while Akshara, who made debut in Bollywood with "Shamitabh", was active behind the cameras as an assistant director before facing the camera for the R. Balakrishnan directorial.
 
Shruti had earlier told IANS that she's protective about Akshara and is also very proud of her achievements.
 
Akshara also took to the micro-blogging site to thank her fans and followers with a post that read: “To all you lovely people who have wished me and made my b'day special. Thank you so much guys! Love to you all.”
