Shraddha, Siddhanth To Play Dawood-sister Duo In 'Haseena' Biopic

  • Shraddha, Siddhanth To Play Dawood-sister Duo In 'Haseena' Biopic
Veteran Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor has confirmed that his children, daughter Shraddha and son Siddhanth will play Haseena Parkar and her brother, notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim in the biopic “Haseena”.

Present at the trailer launch of his film “Dil Sala Sanki”, Shakti Kapoor said: "Both of them will star in 'Haseena', where the (real life) brother and sister will actually play brother and sister on-screen. Shraddha will play Haseena Parkar while Dawood's role will be done by Siddhanth."

It is said that Sonakshi Sinha was earlier finalised to play Haseena but the actress apparently walked out due to date issues. The film will be helmed by “Shootout at Lokhandwala” fame Apoorva Lakhia.

Shraddha is currently shooting “Ok Jaanu” and will also shoot for “Half Girlfriend” soon along with “Rock On 2”. She might take up “Haseena” after she finishes these three projects.

The actress was last seen in “Baaghi” and Siddhanth was last seen in “Jazbaa”.
