  • Shiamak Excited for his Southern Sojourn with IIFA Utsavam

For over a decade Shiamak has been choreographing the IIFA Awards and taking Bollywood to the world with a world class show by Wizcraft Entertainment. This year, the experience reaches the illustrious South Indian Film Industry with IIFA Utsavam and the Guru of dance is ready to make them dance to his tunes!

“I’m very excited to choreograph IIFA Ustavam this year. It’s a fantastic concept of bringing South Indian Cinema together on one grand platform. We have multiple languages and diverse people, but we’re still one. That is the beauty about India. And Cinema plays a very important role in bringing everyone together!” says Shiamak whose journey with the IIFA Awards started in 2002.

Wizcraft and Shiamak have worked on multiple shows including the longest running Bollywood musical, Zangoora at the Kingdom of Dreams. “The stage has always been home for me. I love choreographing award shows. We’ve done some fantastic work with Wizcraft, Viraf, Andre, Sabbas and team around the world. So with IIFA Utsavam, we’re ready to take it to the next level of quality entertainment.”

The preparations are in full swing with the celebrated choreographer working tirelessly with his dance company. The stars have begun their rehearsals and Shiamak is very impressed with their professionalism. “The stars are extremely humble and hard working. We’ve started rehearsals and their dedication is inspiring! There are lots of performances and I’m bringing out the uniqueness of each star through their acts.”

Shiamak goes on to say “Utsavam for me means celebration. A celebration of uniting people through cinema, music  and dance!” His dancers from across the country will come together to put up a spectacular show in Hyderabad on January 24th and 25th with the biggest stars of South Indian Cinema.
