Actor-turned-BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha on Wednesday expressed unhappiness over the suspension of 25 Congress members by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
"Feel unhappy about the developments in parliament... the expulsion of 25 learned MP friends, including one who was not even present," Sinha tweeted.
"Good sense must prevail ... sooner the better," he added, referring to the parliament logjam following the Congress insistence that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj must resign. The government has rejected the demand.
Mahajan suspended the Congress MPs for five days on Monday for "wilfully obstructing the business of the house" and not adhering to her repeated requests to observe the rules.
