Shakti Kapoor's son's injury halts 'Bombairiya' shoot

  • Shakti Kapoor's son's injury halts 'Bombairiya' shoot
Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhanth, who will be seen vrooming around on a pink scooter in his next film "Bombairiya" has injured himself for the second time due to which the shooting of the film has been put on hold.

Indo-British producer Michael Ward, who is producing the project, was in the middle of the second leg of “Bombairiya” when he got a call from Shakti, who said that Siddhanth is badly injured.

As the action was solely based on Siddhanth, they had to pack up before the night shoot began.

“It was the fourth day of our second leg of shooting and we had to shoot action scenes with Siddhanth. But in the afternoon we got a call from Shakti about Siddhanth not being able to make it as he was badly injured after a glass shelf shattered on him at home after which he was rushed to hospital to get 45 stitches to take care of seven cuts,” Ward said in a statement.

This is the second time Siddhanth has been hurt. Last time Siddhanth fell off his pink scooty while he was shooting a scene for the film and managed to continue, but this time he is under strict orders from doctors, who have advised him not to shoot for sometime.

"This is not the time to think about profit and loss though Sid was really apologetic when Pia and I visited him. He's doing a great job for us and all we want is for him to get well soon," Ward added.

Directed by Pia Sukanya, the film is an ode to Mumbai.
