Actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have planned to make the launch of "Gulaabo" -- the first song to release from their film “Shaandaar” -- special by performing live at an event here on Thursday.
 
This will be the first time the duo will perform together live on stage, read a statement.
 
Shahid and Alia also tweeted the first look image of their song on Twitter. It suggests a fun mood, wherein Alia is seen wearing a tweed jacket and pants, and also a moustache!
 
“The gulaabo gang of insomniacs is coming for you #2DaysForGulaabo @aliaa08 @foxstarhindi @dharmamovies @fuhsephantom,” tweeted Shahid.
 
“Sleepless? Time for GULABO #2DaysForGulaabo #GulaaboOn10th,” tweeted Alia.
 
The song will also feature Shahid's sister Sanah.
 
The trailer of the film, directed by Vikas Bahl of "Queen" fame, has already generated a lot of buzz and the audiences are now looking forward to its music.
 
"Gulaabo", penned by Anvita Dutt, is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani.
 
The film is scheduled to release on October 22.
