'Secret Superstar' Is About Today's Youth, Girls: Aamir Khan

    Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who will next be seen in the Advait Chandan directorial, 'Secret Superstar', has said that this movie is about the youth of today, especially the girls.
     
    The 'Dangal' star, who was in the national capital for the promotion his upcoming movie, told, "This film is actually for the young girls. This is their story. I hope people will connect with the story. I wish the movie inspires everyone in a positive way so that they can also fulfill their dreams."
     
    Helmed by Advait Chndan, 'Secret Superstar' is a story about Insu (Zaira Wasim) who aspires to be a singer.
     
    Wasim, who was widely appreciated for her portrayal of Geeta Phogat in the movie 'Dangal', plays the titular role in the movie. She also hopes the youth of the country, irrespective of their gender, get inspired by the movie.
     
    "I hope not just girls, but boys too, who are in their teenage, get inspired by the movie and go ahead and strive to fulfill their dreams. I hope they gather the courage to follow their dreams and I hope the film also tells parents to give their children the chance they deserve," Wasim told.
     
    The flick is slated to release on Diwali this year - October 19, 2017
