Actress Sanjeeda Sheikh had to learn Punjabi for the film "Ashke". It is her maiden Punjabi film.
 
"Punjabis are always warm and welcoming and it was great fun picking a new dialect for the film. It has been a great shooting experience with Amrinder Gill and got to learn a lot in my debut along with a new language," Sanjeeda said in a statement.
 
She had great fun during the shooting in Chandigarh, where Sanjeeda even cooked for some team members, said a source from the production unit.
 
"Ashke", directed by Amberdeep Singh, also features Amrinder Gill, Hobby Dhaliwal, Jaswinder Bhalla and Gurshabad Singh.
