Salman's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' Racing Towards Rs.300 Crore Mark

    Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” has continued its victory march at the box office in its third consecutive week while breaking various records. The Kabir Khan directorial has collected 294.98 crore and is racing towards the Rs.300 crore mark.
     
    Released on July 17, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which focuses on the bond shared by a Pakistani mute girl and an Indian man, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child artist Harshaali Malhotra.
     
    “#BajrangiBhaijaan remains STRONG. (Week 3) Friday Rs.4.11 crore, Saturday Rs.6.80 crore, Sunday Rs.9.07 crore, Monday Rs.2.75 crore. Total: Rs.294.98 crore. All Time Blockbuster,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter.
     
    He added that the film has crossed the total collection of Aamir Khan's “Dhoom 3” and become the second highest grosser ever in Hindi films. 
     
    "BajrangiBhaijaan crosses #Dhoom 3. Emerges second HIGHEST grosser (after #PK). Heading towards Rs.300 crore... Hindi films. India biz," Adarsh added.
     
    Aamir Khan starrer "PK" had minted over Rs.330 crore overall.
     
    Not only in India, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” has done “fabulous” business overseas too.
     
    The film had, upto Sunday, collected $ 23.5 million (Rs.150.54 crore) outside India.
