Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 May, 2016 01:11 PM
  • Salman Wants To Spread Happiness At IIFA 2016 In Madrid
Superstar Salman Khan is upbeat about making a comeback to the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) celebrations, which will be held in Madrid this year.

"Somehow my dates and those of IIFA were not matching all this while. I missed it for 4 years. This year I am going and I am going to spread lots and lots of happiness," Salman told reporters at an event here on Friday.

IIFA -- an annual celebration of Hindi cinema on foreign shores -- will be held in Madrid from June 23-26 this year, which marks its 17th edition.

Apart from Salman, the star line-up of performers will include Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and Tiger Shroff.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor, who is Salman's close friend, is extremely happy that the "Dabangg" star will be a part of IIFA this year.

Anil said: "It's a very special year for me. For the last few years, I was missing Salman at IIFA and this year he is coming. Whenever Salman is there, it's special for me because we all go to his room, we party and we have a great time. I am looking forward to spend time with him again."

The main awards show at IIFA will be hosted by Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor.
