Salman Khan has just joined the sets of Kabir Khan's Tubelight in Ladakh and he's already making heads turn. In a matter of 24 hours flat, we are introduced to his leading lady in the period drama. Chinese star Zhu Zhu has been paired opposite him in the film.
 
The 32-year-old actress posted several pictures of her work trip to India on her Instagram account. “Having my first Hindi lesson,” she captioned a photo of herself taking Hindi classes in Mumbai.

Zhu Zhu appeared excited about working with Salman. Tweeting about the same, she wrote, “On top of the palace with Mr #Salmankhan @ Leh Ladakh”. She also tweeted other images from Ladakh.
 
She also shared on location photographs of Ladakh, in which she is seen enjoying the beauty of the region. The actress started her career as a VJ and tasted fame with winning a local singing contest in Beijing.
 
 
 
 
32 years old started off as a VJ o0n MTV China but soon grabbed eyeballs and became an instant sensation in the neighbourung country. She debuted in the Chinese film industry in 2010 in a film called What Women Want. There's been no looking back ever since then.
 
Tubelight is set with Indo-China 1962 war as the backdrop. It is a love story between an Indian man (Salman) and a Chinese woman (Zhu Zhu). Salman will be seen as a man with special needs in the film. This is the first time that Salman is playing such a role.
 
This is the third film where Kabir and Salman are collaborating. They have earlier delivered hits such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Bajrangi Bhaijaan went on to make over Rs 300 crore at the box office and is one of Salman’s most successful films.

Chinese actress Zhu Zhu has worked with some International projects like What Women Want, Shanghai Calling, The Man with the Iron Fists, Last Flight and a few others. Zhu Zhu who was also a VJ on MTV China is all set to make her big debut.
