Salman Khan's fans have another reason to rejoice as the Bollywood superstar's upcoming film “Sultan” has booked Eid 2016 as its release date.
 
Produced by Aditya Chopra and written-directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film marks the actor's return to the Yash Raj Films banner after the 2012 blockbuster “Ek Tha Tiger”. 
 
the shooting of the film will commence in November. 
 
The release date was announced on the production company's official Twitter account on Tuesday along with a teaser of the film.
 
“Drop EVERYTHING: @BeingSalmanKhan In & As SULTAN #SultanEid2016 https://youtu.be/WbGgqKatP9w #YRFBuzz,” the post read.
 
The teaser opens with a quote from Sultan: “Wrestling is not a sport. It’s about fighting what lies within,” and then announces the release date - Eid 2016.
 
The film's release date is trending on the micro-blogging site under the hash tag “#SultanEid2016”.
 
Zafar’s “Gunday” actors - Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor - also took to Twitter to support their director in his big venture. 
 
Ranveer wrote: “Sabse bada Gunda @aliabbaszafar .... sabse badi film http://youtu.be/WbGgqKatP9w #SultanEid2016.”
 
Arjun tweeted: “Sultan sultan sultan !!! @aliabbaszafar jeh baat... https://twitter.com/yrf/status/613265814041423872...”
 
Meanwhile, Salman's upcoming film “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” "is likely to release on July 18 this year. The “Dabangg” star also has Sooraj R. Barjatya's “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” in his kitty.
