Director Aanand L. Rai has confirmed that superstar Salman Khan turned down an offer to play a dwarf in his next film. But he says "it's all part and parcel" of the business.
The "Raanjhanaa" director confirmed the report on Tuesday night at the success bash of "Tanu Weds Manu" here.
"You're in a business, you tell stories, you work on films, you work on the scripts, you go to your actors. Sometimes they like it, sometimes they don't. It's a part and parcel of your game," Rai said.
Rai, who is known for his content-driven and women-centric movies, made headlines with "Tanu Weds Manu" in 2011. Later, he followed up the success with "Raanjhanaa".
Currently, Rai is busy enjoying and celebrating the success of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" as the movie has been appreciated by audiences and critics alike and has already grossed over Rs. 100 crore.
