Superstar Salman Khan, who is irked by anti-religious messages being spread in his name regarding his forthcoming release "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", says police are taking required action against miscreants.
He has also reached out to his fans via social media, asking them not to believe the purported social media messages which claim "Bajrangi Bhaijan" will prove to be a hit even without viewership from his Muslim fans.
“Änti religious msg's doing the rounds using my name don't believe these rumors, not true at all Informed the police, they r taking action,” Salman tweeted on Sunday.
The actor went on to add that he is a firm believer of 'unity in diversity'.
“Always hv n vil respect all faiths arre have them all in my own house under 1 roof (sic),” he added.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is an emotional story of a journey of man from India to Pakistan with a dumb and mute girl.
The much-anticipated film is slated to hit the screens on July 17.
