Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Sep, 2015 11:04 AM
With his production venture "Hero" releasing on Friday, superstar Salman Khan has asked audiences to support debutant stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty and "welcome them with open arms".

The "Dabangg" star, who has shown faith in actors Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj and Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya on several occasions, took to Twitter to urge his fans and well-wishers.

"Welcome them into the film world with open arms with enjoying, supporting, (and) encouraging them in cinemas with whistles and claps #herotomorrow," Salman tweeted.

The 49-year-old star is co-producing the film under his banner Salman Khan Films (SKF).

Directed by Nikhil Advani, "Hero" is the remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 movie of the same name, which featured actor Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in the lead role.
