Salma Hayek Has Bone Broth For Youthful Skin

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 Aug, 2015 01:57 PM
  • Salma Hayek Has Bone Broth For Youthful Skin
Actress Salma Hayek says she isn't a fan of cosmetic surgery and Botox and says she drinks bone broth from the remains of cows in order to keep her youthful appearance.

"Right now I am doing something that I'm really loving. It is called bone broth! It's sort of disgusting. You take a bunch of bones from a cow and slow-cook them for many hours. It's full of gelatin and fat, and I think it's very good to keep yourself young," Hayek said.

Hayek then adds in a tablespoon of apple cider and drinks a cup a day of the bone broth mixture.

"It's full of gelatin and fat and has bone marrow and I think it is very good to keep yourself young. If you do the right fat, I think that is the key,"she said.

The actress also shuns conventional exercise routines and says you won't find her on a treadmill, reports people.com.

"I don't do cardio, I mean, I didn't do it when I was young. I'm not going to start jumping now. But I do like yoga," she said.
