Salim Merchant Gives Bollywood Break To ‘The Voice India' Contestant

    Popular singer-composer Salim Merchant will give Pune-based aspiring singer Sharayu Date, who is currently seen as a contestant in "The Voice India Season 2", her break in Bollywood.
     
    Salim said Sharayu will soon be working with him on a big music project. 
     
    "Sharayu is an immensely talented girl. She has a lot of knowledge about music and she has also done playback singing for Marathi movies as a child," Salim said in a statement.
     
    "Her journey in music is definitely something to look up to and I feel that she is now ready to sing for Bollywood. She will be working with me in my next Bollywood project and I'm extremely happy to be working with her," he added.
     
    "The Voice India Season 2" is aired on &TV.
