Recreation Of Songs Can Be Tricky: Armaan Malik

Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 May, 2016 01:10 PM
Singer Armaan Malik, who has belted out hits songs like "Wajah tum ho", "Naina", "Chaar shanivaar" and the reworked version of the 1991 song "Tumhe apna banane ki", says recreations can be tricky.

"I think recreations are a good thing if done right because it can be very dangerous also. If you do something which goes wrong, then people probably won't like it because they are attached to that old version of the song... So, recreations can be a little tricky," Malik told IANS.

The "Buddhu sa mann" crooner says recreations are tough for musicians because "it becomes tough to live up to that expectations". However, he feels that new versions of old songs help the new generation to know about their existence.

"But if done right, I think it's really great because the younger generation would know the existence of these (old) songs," he added.
