Actor Ranveer Singh on Saturday underwent a surgery for a shoulder injury he suffered on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film “Bajirao Mastani”. He kept fans updated with live tweets before the medical procedure.
 
The “Band Baaja Baaraat” actor shared an image of himself on a hospital bed with leads attached to his bare chest. He was live-tweeting from the operation theatre to stay connected with his well wishers.
 
“Live tweet from the operation theatre,” Ranveer tweeted along with a selfie.
 
After sharing the photograph on micro-blogging website Twitter, the 29-year-old posted two more tweets -- “About to get knocked out!" and “he injected my neck ! Whoa!!".
 
Ranveer sported his bearded look and was smiling away.
 
When he had suffered the injury, he was optimistic about it back then as well.
 
He had tweeted then: "As for the injury, I'm fine. Mard ko Dard nahi hota....aur badi badi filmon mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain ;) #sh*thappens."
 
Wishes for a speedy recovery started pouring in from Ranveer's celebrity friends soon after he tweeted his surgery update on Saturday.
 
Aditi Rao Hydari posted: "@RanveerOfficial get well fastly Soonly livewire! I think you need a horse tranquilizer!"
 
Sonakshi Sinha, his "Lootera" co-star, said: "@RanveerOfficial omg!!!! Baba you just reached a whole new level of crazy!!! Get well super duper soon!"
 
His antic left many surprised.
 
While filmmaker Kunal Kohli said: "@RanveerOfficial you’re unbelievable", Ranveer's "Gunday" co-actor Arjun Kapoor commented: "@RanveerOfficial ur a reality show on ur own baba."
