Ranveer Singh urges people to try 'the Rex'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 Apr, 2014 01:23 PM
  • Ranveer Singh urges people to try 'the Rex'
Actor Ranveer Singh, who has done bold scenes in movies like "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela" and "Band Baaja Baaraat", is now asking people to try Rex - a unique dance move - and urges the youth to "talk more openly about safe sex by normalising the conversation".

Ranveer, who has been signed as brand ambassador by Durex, the global leader in sexual well being, is seen in a new consumer campaign launched Wednesday.

Durex together with Ranveer and a team of choreographers has developed a dance move called ‘Rex' - a physical expression of joy and ecstasy experienced after a wonderful sexual experience has moved them.

Karan Kapadia (director), Bosco-Caesar (choreographers), Ravi Varman (cinematographer) and Mikey McCleary (music) teamed up to create the peppy video. Ranveer, on the other hand, wrote and rapped the lyrics of the soundtrack.

"The Rex is a dance move that signifies the celebration of great sex! When you have had great sex and you want to celebrate the divine experience that has moved you, then you do the Rex," Ranveer said in a statement.

"I believe intimacy is never just physical, but emotional too. I'd like very much for the youth of the nation to talk more openly about safe sex by normalising the conversation. It was great fun shooting with such a talented team of professionals," he added.
