Mumbai, Nov 19 (IANS) Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming directorial film 'Animal' starring Ranbir Kapoor is slated to have a worldwide release on August 11, 2023.
'Animal' was earlier slated to release on Dussehra 2022.
The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra. 'Animal' marks Vanga's first association with Ranbir.
The crime drama film, 'Animal' is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios.
The film marks Vanga's return as director after the 2017 Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy' and its equally popular Bollywood remake 'Kabir Singh'.
'Animal' is a gangster drama that revolves around the ever-changing nature of the relationship shared by the characters where the protagonist becomes like an animal in nature.
Industry legends Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Padmini Kolhapure, Anil Agarwal, Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Alka Yagnik, and Shabbir Kumar have lent their voices for the song.
The audience will get to see her in a never-seen-before avatar performing extreme physical training routines alongside the Veerangana Force, India's first female commando unit to tackle rising crime against women in the state.
Shot by ace photographer Taras Taraporvala, the ad features Malhotra with a ghastly 'cut' on her face seemingly made by an 'ankus' (a sharp-edged device used to control elephants), asking her fans to "try to relate" to the animal's fate by never riding an elephant. Her hairstyling and make-up were done by Natasha Mathias.
The world knew that the child had been named 'Jeh' -- his maternal grandfather Randhir Kapoor, in fact, had also referred to him as 'Jeh' when someone asked him for his name in response to the Bollywood veteran's recent tweet that he was visiting his grandchild.
A team of Lucknow Police is expected to be in Mumbai to question Shilpa and her mother Sunanda in the alleged fraud case in the name of a wellness centre.
Reminiscing about the film, Preity said: "This is surreal, celebrating 20 years of 'Dil Chahta Hai'. I remember Farhan telling me that whenever he makes a film, he would love for me to be part of it."
