  • Ranbir Kapoor Is My Best Friend: Katrina Kaif

The makers of 'Jagga Jasoos' dropped a new trailer for the movie and later in the evening the team of the movie including director Anurag Basu, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif got together for the trailer launch.

While talking to the media at the trailer launch, the film's lead actress Katrina shared that Ranbir is her best friend.

When asked about whether she looks at Ranbir as a better friend or a better producer, she said, "As a producer, he hasn't done much in this film. This is totally Dada's (Anurag) creation. We would come on the set and compete. It is real competition but something that we enjoy. We had a lot of fun doing it. Coming back to the question, better producer toh he is not at all but yes...he's my best friend."

Meanwhile, Ranbir shared that he cannot predict the Box-Office success, but he knows that it is a good movie.

On being asked whether he is nervous about the film's box-office collections, the ' Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' star noted, "I cannot predict the Box-Office success, but I know it's a good film. After 'Rocket Singh', I thought I made a 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.' but then we all know that the film didn't work. So, as an actor, you cannot predict."

The 'Baar Baar Dekho' star added, "I knew that 'Rocket Singh' would be a flop. After watching the film, I called him and said that it's such a boring film! But in this film ('Jagga Jasoos') we all enjoyed the process while filming. Every day when we gathered on set, we knew we are creating something new and interesting. As an actor, the outcome is not in our hand, but the process, I thoroughly enjoyed."

The trailer promises a sense of adventure as Ranbir heads out on a thrilling journey with Katrina to find his father.

The almost-three-minute-long video starts with a stammering Ranbir who reveals that singing helps him put his emotions into words.

Helmed by Anurag Basu, ' Jagga Jasoos' releases on July 14
