Ranbir Kapoor declines to comment on MNS warning to Pakistani actors

IANS, 26 Sep, 2016 01:22 PM
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's forthcoming "Ae Dil Hain Mushkil" has created buzz due to his sizzling onscreen chemistry with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but he declined to comment on speculation that the film is now in trouble as MNS said that they won't allow its release in Maharashtra for featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

Asked about this, Ranbir said: "I can speak about my film 'Ae Dil Hain Mushkil'. Other than this I don't know anything about other rumours."

Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", which is slated to release next month, will see Fawad in a supporting role while another Pakistani actress Mahira Khan plays the lead role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in "Raees".

However after the Uri attack, Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena declared that they want the Pakistani actors to move out of India.

Speaking to media on the set of "Dance Plus 2", Ranbir said he is happy with the reactions of the film. "The film is releasing on Diwali. I hope that this Diwali will be 'Ae Dil Ki Diwali'," he said.

About the dance reality show, he said: "I feel humble when I am reminded of my own family legacy for being attached to this film industry for last 80 years."

"I had a lot of fun in the show. The participants are really talented. I think even as an actor I don't have a talent like them. They are a true heroes," he added.A

"Ae Dil Hain Mushkil" features Ranbir, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Anushka Sharma in lead and Fawad in a pivotal role.
