Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma have pledged to give their movie costumes to help raise funds for redevelopment of flood ravaged Kashmir and Assam.
 
eBay India and Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) have come together for the cause, and are seeking bids for a charity auction on www.ebay.in/charity. 
 
Customers can bid for RanbirÂ’s Kashmiri pheran from “Rockstar” and AnushkaÂ’s leather jacket from “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”. The charity auction begins Thursday and will be live till Dec 13. 
 
Ranbir said in a statement: “I feel honoured to be able to contribute towards supporting the redevelopment of Kashmir and Assam through the charity auction run by eBay India and EEMA. I encourage people to participate in this noble cause and help all those in need”.
 
Anushka also feels “privileged” to be able to contribute towards the redevelopment of the states and their citizens. 
 
"I encourage all my fans to participate in this auction and help raise funds to support the cause,” she added.
