Raman Raghav 2.0 Wins The Best Asian Genre Film At Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival

    Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's psychological thriller "Psycho Raman" ("Raman Raghav 2.0") has won the Best Asian Genre Film at the 20th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in South Korea.
     
    Kashyap, who is popular for films like "Gangs of Wasseypur" and "Ugly", took to Twitter on Friday night to share the news.
     
    "'Psycho Raman' wins Best Asian genre film at BIFAN (Korea) and Rohit Mittal's 'Auto Head' wins Best Actor for Deepak Sampat," Kashyap tweeted. 
     
    The filmmaker also shared a document, which read: "European Fantastic Film Federation Asian Awards has been attributed to 'Psycho Raman' directed by Anurag Kashyap by the European Fantastic Film Federation Asian Award jury of the 20th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, composed by Guy Delmote and Daniel Cohen."
     
    "Psycho Raman" is based on a notorious serial killer, who operated in Mumbai during the mid-1960s. The film was also premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
     
    The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal.
