Rakhi Sawant To Marry Reality Show Contestant Deepak Kalal?

IANS, 29 Nov, 2018 01:47 PM

After Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's dreamy wedding at Lake Como in Italy and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' big fat wedding which is to be held in Jodhpur this weekend, another actor seems to have taken the decision of getting married.

Rakhi Sawant, popularly referred to as the queen of controversies, has decided to tie the knot with India's Got Talent fame Deepak Kalal.

Rakhi announced the big news on Wednesday and soon after she shared the wedding invite on Instagram, the netizens couldn't digest what's happening. First, the announcement was too sudden. Second, Rakhi shared the wedding card with a host of laughter emojis and a couple emoji in the middle.

The invitation also says, “Together with their families, Deepak Kalal weds Rakhi Sawant. Two loving hearts are getting united and are making a promise to be in love forever.”

The lovebirds have decided to commit to each other forever.

Confirming the news to media, Rakhi said, “Yes, it’s true we are getting married. Everyone in the industry is tying the knot and I felt it was the right time for me to get married too.

Deepak proposed to me on national television on India’s Got Talent and I decided to say yes. We have just finalised the date and will now start preparing for the functions. I will keep updating my fans about everything through social media. For now, we all need your blessings and love for our conjugal life.”

A day after this conversation, the manager confirmed that Rakhi is getting married to Deepak.

Rakhi, however, refused to interact with the media. Given that the fans still have their doubts, Rakhi and Deepak have also decided to host a press conference to offer clarity about their apparent wedding and share details with the media this Saturday, December 1.

Meanwhile, Rakhi and Deepak are leaving no stone unturned in helping their marriage news gain momentum.

After sharing their wedding invite on social media, Rakhi shared a video asking fans to send their passport details to Deepak so that the couple could arrange their tickets.

She also shared her excitement and added that “McDonald Trump” and “all celebrities people” will be attending her wedding. She went on to share photos of her and Deepak's LA tickets which revealed that duo is reportedly jetting off on December 25.
