Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 May, 2016 11:03 AM
“Baahubali: The Beginning” star Prabhas is elated over the film getting a National Film Award as well as Amitabh Bachchan picking up the Best Actor honour for “Piku”.

“Baahubali: The Beginning” director S.S. Rajamouli received the Best Feature Film award at the recently held 63rd National Film Awards. And the actor says his happiness was doubled as the award ceremony proved to be a visual treat with Rajamouli and Amitabh being captured in the same frame.

“It is such a treat to see two of my most favourite creative people in one frame - Rajamouli sir and Amitabh sir. They are so inspiring," Prabhas said in a statement.

Prabhas plays the title role in the film, and will be back in the second part of the movie "Baahubali: The Conclusion", which is already in the works.

Meanwhile, the film's director and producer Shobu Yarlagadda will be leading a panel discussion at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. The southern magnum opus will also be screened at the prestigious film fest.
