Actor Rahul Khanna shared a childhood picture of his father Vinod Khanna swinging him and brother Akshaye at a beach.
 
Rahul Khanna shared a sweet old photo of his father Vinod and brother Akshaye vacationing at a beach. The actor’s father died on April 27 of bladder cancer at a hospital in Mumbai. He was 70.
 
In the black and white photo, a cheery Vinod is seen swinging his sons around as the sea splashes at their feet. “Feels like yesterday,” Rahul wrote with the post. This is the first Twitter post he has made since Vinod’s death.
 
Vinod Khanna acted in more than 146 films including Imtihan (1974) opposite Tanuja, a movie remembered for its hit songs. He was adept at handling both romantic and action films with ease, getting under the skin of his characters with ease. In 1988, he played the role of an aging gangster in Dayavaan.
 
He was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale (2015).
 
Khanna was married to Geetanjali from 1971 and 1985 and has two sons with her, Rahul and Akshaye. He married Kavita with whom he has two children, Sakshi and Shraddha.
