Punjabis On The Phone: Sahil Khattar Returns With 'Know Your Punjabis' Sequel

Darpan News Desk IANS, 05 Aug, 2016 12:41 PM
Comedian Sahil Khattar, who received an overwhelming response for the comedy video "Know your Punjabis", has now returned with its sequel titled "Punjabis On The Phone".

The video, which has been made by Culture Machine's digital channel Being Indian, features Sahil in three different avatars -- a Delhi Punjabi, an humble Punjabi from Punjab and NRI Punjabi.

"Punjabi people have a peculiar way of talking and behaving which has made them stand out on a global platform. We wanted to bring out the 'Punjabiness' through these three characters who we usually see around us," Sahil said in a statement.

"These three characters were created to round up the Punjabi society in a single video. They have different set of quirks without which no other Punjabi or the people who know Punjabi will be able to enjoy the twists," he added.
