Priyanka Willing To Explore Aspects Of Indian TV

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Mar, 2017 01:20 PM
  • Priyanka Willing To Explore Aspects Of Indian TV
Priyanka Chopra, who has hosted an edition of action-adventure TV show "Khatron Ke Khiladi", wants to explore different facets of the Indian small screen.

The actress says she is "always open to do different things and Indian TV is definitely one of them".

After making a mark in Bollywood, Priyanka started her international career with music singles. She got more visibility as FBI agent Alex Parrish in "Quantico", which airs in India on Star World and Star World HD.

"I've done TV in India seven years ago with 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' (Season 3). I'm always open to do different things and Indian TV is definitely one of them," Priyanka told IANS in an email interview last month.

She added: "TV requires a lot of time and currently I have my plate full… but as I always say… never say never!"

What will lure her to Indian small screen?

Priyanka says "I don't like to restrict myself... If the plot, storyline and writers are good... I'm sold."

The actress, who will soon make her Hollywood debut with "Baywatch", says working on television has been an enriching experience.

She said: "TV is a different medium and that in itself was a big learning for me as actor. As an individual, having to deal with careers on two different continents, adapting to new requirements, being away from home and all that I am familiar with for long stretches has also been a learning. All in all, it's been great."
