Darpan News Desk IANS, 02 Aug, 2017 12:59 PM

Bigg Boss 11 is all set to return back on TV with Salman Khan. The actor and host for the reality TV show has already finished shooting promos for Bigg Boss 11 which is set to release around September this year. And this time the participants are said to be an odd combination.

According to reports, Priyanka Chopra’s doppelganger and YouTuber Navpreet Banga may be a contestant on the 11th season of Bigg Boss. She rose to fame last year when she was spotted by several media outlets for her uncanny resemblance to the Bollywood star.

She is a gym freak and loves posting pictures of her workout techniques and snaps from her photo shoots. Navpreet Banga also seems to like travelling, photography and modeling. She is also a Youtuber and actor.

Just like Bigg Boss 10, this time too the commoners will be seen participating along with the celebs on the show and PC's doppelganger could be one of them.

The 11th season of the show will be aired earlier than usual this time. The show normally begins in October but reports suggest that it will start airing from September this year. Salman Khan, who will be hosting the show for the seventh time, shot the promo on July 30 in Morocco.

A DNA quoted a source as saying, “Salman will be shooting for the promos this Sunday. He is flying down from Morocco especially for this shoot. It will have a whole new theme, which will be unveiled with the first promo soon. This time, the channel might start with the show earlier than other years. So, it will mostly air in September, instead of October.”

The registrations for commoners closed on July 21.

While the contestants for the new season are yet to be finalised, there are a few names that are being speculated as most likely to be a part of the show. Cringe pop sensation Dhinchak Pooja, TV actors Nia Sharma and Sana Saeed are the front runners for celeb slot in the house this year.

Another report in DNA After Hours also claimed that there is a new twist in the commoners’ selection for Bigg Boss this year. “They want to have pairs of mother-daughter, father-son, siblings, to make it (the show) more interesting and create a spark as they will be able to reveal something about each other’s past, which could be spicy and controversial,” it quoted a source as saying.
