Priyanka Chopra's Fiance Nick Jonas And Family Leave For The US After Roka

Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 Aug, 2018 02:35 PM
American pop singer Nick Jonas and his parents left from here for the US, two days after solemnising his relationship with actress Priyanka Chopra.

Nick and his parents left India late on Sunday night. He sported an all-black ensemble paired with white sneakers. His mother Denise wore a denim top, black pants and carried a classic Louis Vuitton tote bag. Nick's father Paul was dressed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

As the "Chains" singer entered the airport, he waved a goodbye to the Indian paparazzi.

The family members had arrived here on August 16.

Priyanka and Nick on August 18 sealed their relationship with a traditional Indian 'roka' ceremony -- considered the first wedding ritual for Punjabis -- in the presence of their close family and friends here.

The ceremony, held at the actress' residence here, followed months of speculation around the relationship status of Priyanka, 36, and Nick, 25.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA THANKS ALL FOR WISHES, BLESSINGS

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has solemnised her relationship with American pop singer Nick Jonas, has thanked everyone for all the well wishes and blessings.

Priyanka on Saturday night shared a few photographs post her 'roka' ceremony with Jonas and captioned: "The only way to do this... with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings."

After months of speculation, the "Mary Kom" actress took to her Instagram account to make it official that she is "taken" with her "heart and soul", while Jonas introduced her as the "Future Mrs Jonas".

Priyanka, 36, and Nick, 25, looked every bit 'desi' in traditional Indian wear for the ceremony, which was attended by their close family members and friends. Nick's parents -- mother Denise and father Kevin Jonas Sr -- who flew down from the US with their son for the occasion on Thursday -- also dressed in Indian wear for the celebrations.
