Actor-singer Priyanka Chopra, Monica Dogra of Shaa'ir and Func fame and three other Indian artists have been nominated by VH1 at the 2015 Europe Music Awards under the Best India Act category, which falls under the Worldwide Act category.
 
The Worldwide Act is a global category where the best talent is picked from across continents.
 
Fans decide the best winning talent from among all the nominees through votes, read a statement.
 
The other Indian acts to be nominated for the award are Indus Creed, Your Chin and The Ska Vengers.
 
Fans can vote for their favourite act on MTV EMA's website and for social media voting, they must tweet/post both #MTVEMA #EmasOnVh1 AND #Nominate(artist name) for their vote to be counted.
 
Fans can cast their votes till October 14. 
 
In the next stage of voting, the local winner under Best India Act goes head to head with winners from regions across the world to become one of the six Worldwide Act winners.
 
The Worldwide Act winners will be announced on the 2015 Europe Music Awards show, which will be aired on VH1 in October.
